Every year, at the port of Igoumenitsa, the Olympic Academy of Igoumenitsa organizes a sprint triathlon with the name
“il porto triathlon”.Every athlete must swim 750m , bicycle 20 km and run 5 km. The event takes place usually on the first weekend of October and the participation is very high every year. It is an opportunity to combine your favourite sport with dream vacations in western Greece.
