Ammoudia is a fairly long beach in front of the homonymous village, ideal for families with young children as it is shallow. The waters are a little colder than the other beaches because of the Acheron River that flows right by the beach. It is also one of the few options if the Ionian Sea has waves. To reach the beach of Ammoudia, take the Preveza – Igoumenitsa national road to the village of Mesopotamos, located at the Necromanteion of Acheron and follow the sign to Ammoudia village.
