The ancient theater of Kassopi is located near the village of Kamarina in the municipality of Zalogo, Preveza, in the ancient city of Kassopi. Built in the 3rd century BC on the northwestern edge of the acropolis, it has a capacity of about 6,000 spectators with panoramic views of the Ambracian Gulf and Lefkada. The orchestra of the Theater is unique because it does not form a full circle but an arc larger than a semicircle. The theater is not in good shape due to natural disasters, and ongoing projects of restoration will restore its appearance while enriching our knowledge of its history and architecture.
