The building of the new Nicopolis Archaeological Museum, with a total area of 2,150 square meters, was erected on a plot of 20 acres, located at the entrance of the town of Preveza. It includes two main showrooms of 200 square meters each, multipurpose lounge, administration areas, maintenance workshops, storage areas, public service areas (ticket office, shop, refreshment room) and hostel. The Museum’s exhibition focuses solely on the findings of the archaeological site of Nicopolis and not on the collection of a larger area, which largely determines the central idea of the exhibition.
Therefore, one of the primary factors is the connection of the exhibition and the museum with the archaeological site of Nicopolis.
|The museum and the archaeological site of Nicopolis are closed on the Weekends and official Holidays. |
Opening hours during the rest of the week 8.00 am till 15.00 pm.
Its for Nikopolis Archaeological Museum and archaeological site.
