Lichnos is the second largest beach in Parga after Valtos. The beach has thick sand and the sea is very beautiful while in some places it may have more pebbles than sand and you may encounter some stones in the first steps in the sea. The waters here are deepening abruptly. Parga is not famous for its shallow beaches anyway. The beach exceeds 700 meters in length and reaches a width of 30 meters.
There are two roads that lead there and both start from the road where the intersection for Parga starts from the national road Preveza – Igoumenitsa.
The first road that leads to the beach of Lichnos starts through the village of Agia Kyriaki, where you will meet going from the national road to Parga, at the point where you will see the signs “to the beach, Paliria” and ends on the left side of the beach, that it has neither beach bar nor umbrellas. Here you come with your umbrella and you are closer to nature.
The second road is the one that descends from the intersection that is closer to Parga, about 2 km. from the entrance of the city. From this entrance you can approach the hotels and apartments, located near the beach.
