Sarakatsaniki Stani is a faithful representation of the “Sarakatsani” seasonal settlement. It covers a total area of 16 acres and includes in natural size the “Konaki” (straw huts used as houses or laboratories), the “ovoros” and the “greki” (animal storage areas). Depending on its use, each hut is equipped with the corresponding everyday objects, from beds to cookware, loom and cheese making tools. Sarakatsaniki Stani located in Gyftokambos, 10 kilometers from Skamneli village, Zagori and it is a unique open-air Museum to learn, among other things, about the lifestyle of the Sarakatsanani breeders.
